Daniel Rees
Managing Director – ARB / RIBA
Daniel is an award-winning RIBA chartered architect with over 15 years experience in architecture and design, largely in the residential and private sector where he has worked closely with clients and developers to create bespoke quality buildings and interiors. To create a synergy Daniel believes the architectural design process should be a collaboration process between the designer, client, and craftsmen. He approaches projects with a consciousness of the atmosphere build form can create for its inhabitants and activity, paying equal attention to tactility, acoustics, light, aesthetics, and space.
Daniel studied at Greenwich University before moving to The University of East London where he gained a distinction in design and was also awarded the Dean's Prize 2010 for his project which proposed a sustainable manufacturing and building process for new buildings in an agricultural area of Marrakech.
Daniel is also now a guest lecturer and mentor for degree and masters students at The University of East London, and has acted for Brent Council as an expert witness for heritage design.
